CrimeFest 2019

CrimeFest is one of Europe’s most attended Crime Fiction conventions. With authors and readers from all over Europe travelling to Bristol for the 2019 convention, SA Events were brought in again, to supply complete production package.

The CrimeFest program consists of over 40 panels, over a hundred authors, gala awards dinner and many other surprises. SA Events provided the entire technical package consisting of staging, audio and video equipment across all 5 rooms.

With space at a premium, equipment choice and placement had to be carefully selected. Leading this event for SA Events was Will Fox who has worked with Crime Fest for the past 8 years. He knows this job extremely well, which helps when choosing the right equipment for the job.

To assist with space we use a series of Wifi Enabled mixers to allow all the outboard to be hidden from site and each room mixed using a tablet.

This year also held the preview of the new series of Agatha Raisin Series 2. SA Events supplied the a Panasonic PT-RZ970 Laser Projector for this. Many of the organisers commented on the clarity and quality of the projection.

SA Events are currently working on plans for 2020 Crime Fest to take place in Bristol early next May.
