DAS Aero 20 Line array @ Create Festival Ashford

The Project

We were appointed the contract to provide full technical production & management of the Create Festival in Ashford, organised and run by Ashford Borough Council.

The site involves multiple stages of different genres. From a community stage helping to boost local talent, to the main stage headlined by acts such as Adam Ant, and this year DJ Jazzy Jeff.

Working with the council, we are also lucky to work with the Ashford College Music Technology students, helping them with hands on experience on a festival site.

Every year we work with the council to improve the festival and build upon the previous year. This year we invested heavily in the main stage audio with the implementation of the DAS Aero 20 line array.

With the high fidelity from the Aero 20, the audio quality was noticeably better than previous years. Utilising the  FIR Filtering meant an even coverage with little drop off throughout the main stage area, whilst keeping reflections onstage to a minimum.
