Get On The Floor! is the UK Tour starring AJ Pritchard. He has been touring the UK this March and SA Events are proud to be providing a full control package for this.

Starring “Strictly Come Dancing” AJ Pritchard, Get On The Floor! is a dynamic new dance show like no other. In partnership with leading UK production company Raymond Gubbay, the tour headed to various venues across the UK and went down a storm.

Get On The Floor! UK Tour with AJ PritchardDue to the restrictions of touring, normally there would be a full orchestra. However to get round this the entire score was recorded and would be played back. To keep that live feeling, every instrument was recorded separately in LA and then using multi tracks that engineer could “mix” everything live throughout the night at each venue.

Working with sound engineer Jay Christie, SA Events provided a complete control package for the tour comprising of multiple Qlab machines for primary and backup and a Yamaha CL3 for the tour. Utilising Dante’s “Virtual Soundcard”, Jay was able to have 32 tracks of orchestra for every number meaning he could mix everything as if the band were in the room playing.

Along with this SA Events supplied a complete Shure QLX-D radio system, enabling him to patch the devices into the Yamaha CL to monitor throughout the performance.
